Each year, the Editorial Board nominates one publication from the previous volume to be honored by the Editor’s Medal. The Editor-in-Chief chooses the publication after collecting proposals from the members of the Editorial Board.
Once again this year, the Editorial Board members made a number of interesting proposals. After much consideration, the winning publication selected for 2006 is the paper from Dr. Bargellini and colleagues on the topic of volumetric changes after endovascular repair of abdominal aneurysms [1].
This award is accompanied by a considerable donation from our publisher, Springer Inc. New York.
Congratulations!
