Summary
The Good Life: Introduction of a multidimensional model and measurement instrument of eudaimonic wellbeing
This article describes a model and measurement instrument of eudaimonic wellbeing including eight dimensions: purpose in life, positive relations with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, self-acceptance, personal growth, inner resources and vitality. The construct validity of the instrument was studied in a sample of 335 persons. The results showed that the instrument has acceptable factorial validity, and good discriminant and convergent validity. The reliability, internal consistency and test-retest reliability are good.
