Incontinence anale: apport de l’endosonographie

Interest of endosonography in anal incontinence

  • Published:
Acta Endoscopica

Conclusions

Conclusions

Endosonography is a non-invasive, cost-effective, easy to realise and efficient procedure for the diagnosis of sphincter disruptions. In case of anal incontinence of multiple origin, endosonography may demonstrate the existence of an external sphincter disruption, that may be efficiently repaired.
