Summary
By assuming that the de Sitter group is the space-time invariance group only, the wave equations for arbitrary spin are deduced. The equations we find, in the flat-space limit, bring, besides the Klein-Gordon and spin equations, another Bhabha-type equation which plays the rôle of evolution equation (and is causal for minimal coupling). The Dirac and Petiau-Duffin-Kemmer equations are the simplest examples. The fact that the presence of a high-spin particle implies the existence of states with higher mass and lower spin is predicted. Finally we show that the Bargmann-Wigner states are particular cases of our states.
