Abstract

We give a brief and very simple picture of one of the most remarkable results of Matvei Petrovich Bronstein concerning quantization of gravitational waves, showing also that the linearized Einstein equations of the paper by E. T. Newman, Phys. Rev. D 65, 104005 (2002) are the same Bronstein’s equations given 66 years before.
