Quasi-free processes in the9Be(d, tα)4He reaction

Summary

A generalization of the usual PWIA in the application to quasi-free reaction processes has been presented. The existence of quasi-free effects was tested in the9Be(d, tα)4He reaction at 7 MeV. Evidence for quasi-free effects has been found by comparison of discrepancies between the experimental data and theR-matrix theory of resonant states, with predictions of the model presented.
