Summary
The general integral of the equations of motion of a relativistic string in a constant external field is given. TheN-soliton excitations are constructed and a particular solution (one-soliton excitation) is discussed. The one soliton excitation gives rise to a motion analogous to the helicoidal motion of an electron in a constant magnetic field.
