Summary
Atomic form factors are calculated for momentum transfers between 0.1m e c and infinity. The calculation is based on electron charge densities obtained from a relativistic self-consistent-field program with exchange represented essentially by the Gaspar-Kohn-Sham equivalent potential. Form factors are tabulated in the range 0.1m e c≲q≲2m e c for 18 atoms ranging from20Ca to92U. For higherq, the form factor for each atom is given as a simple 3-parameter form, multiplying the Bethe-Levinger relativisticK-shell formula.
