An improved procedure for the isolation of nuclear DNA from leaves of wild grapevine dried with silica gel

Abstract

An efficient and convenient method is presented for the isolation of nuclear DNA from leaves of wildVitis species that have been dried with silica gel. The nuclear DNA obtained with this method is suitable for both PCR amplification and digestion with restriction endonucleases.
