Corrections to the Landau diamagnetism of liquid metals

Abstract

Perturbation corrections to the free electron value of the Landau susceptibility have been obtained in terms of an electron-ion pseudopotential and the structure factor of the liquid metal.

Résumé

On a calculé par la méthode des perturbations des termes correctifs à la susceptibilité de Landau des électrons de conduction d'un métal liquide. Les résultats dependent du pseudopotentiel des ions et du facteur de structure du liquide.

Zusammenfassung

Für die Landau-Suszeptibilität der Leitungselektronen eines flüssigen Metalles werden störungstheoretische Korrekturen berechnet als Funktional des Pseudopotentials der Ionen und des Strukturfaktors der Flüssigkeit.
