Pathomorphosis in the clinical picture of some urological diseases

Abstract

The pathomorphosis of the diseases is changing considerably, due to the widespread application of various antibiotics, chemotherapeutics, steroids, antitumour drugs, etc. Accordingly, the classical course of the diseases is changing too, rendering by this the setting up of a proper diagnosis very difficult, especially in cases of inflammatory diseases, tumours, tuberculosis, etc. The authors outline the essentials of a new type of diseases, called “drug diseases”. Due to the widely and often inadequately applied antibiotics, an increasing number of various mycoses, disbacterioses and suppurative processes of latent development are included in this group. The authors' observations are illustrated by case histories.
