Zusammenfassung

Mit einem Anteil an den Gesamtaufwendungen des Gesundheitswesens, welcher sich zwischen 5‰ und 2% befinden dürfte, ist die Prävention höchstwahrscheinlich unterdotiert. Detaillierte Angaben über das Ausmass der Versorgung der Bevölkerung durch primär- und sekundärprophylaktische Massnahmen fehlen noch, aber verschiedene Ansätze zu neuen Versorgungskonzepten lassen die Hoffnung zu, dass die Prävention in der Zukunft einen ihren Möglichkeiten gemässen Platz im Gesundheitswesen einnehmen wird.

La prévention en Suisse représente entre 5 ‰ et 2 % du budget total de la santé. L'importance de la prévention ne s'exprime donc pas suffisamment dans les allocations budgétaires. Même si des données précises sur la distribution et l'utilisation des soins préventifs n'existent pas en Suisse, de nombreux développements sur les plans cantonal et national permettent d'espérer que la prévention aura la place qu'elle mérite à l'avenir.

Summary

Within the overall costs of health services in Switzerland, it is estimated that the cost of all preventive services amount to 5 ‰-2 %. Even though detailed data on the provision of preventive services are missing, several new models allow for optimism in regard to redressing the balance between prevention and cure in the future.
