Contribution to the study of the esterification mechanism in the gas phase of substituted benzoic acids on AlPO4

Abstract

An AAC2 type mechanism is proposed for the esterification of several substituted benzoic acids on AlPO4 in the gas phase. The rate-controlling step is the surface reaction between an adsorbed molecule of acid and an unadsorbed molecule of ethanol. The KA and\(\vec K\) constants, and the apparent Ea are determined.

Abstract

Механизм типа ААС2 был предложен для описания этерификации некоторых замещенных бензойных кислот на AlPO4 в газовой фазе. Ступенью, лимитирующей скорость, является поверхностная реакция между адсорбированными молекулами кислоты и неадсорбированными молекулами этанола. Были определены кон-станты КА и\(\vec k\), а также кажущаяся ЕА.
