Summary
The average dominance of interocellar bristle polygenes inDrosophila melanogaster was computed from the ratio of deviations from the base population mean of the F1 and the selection lines. The alleles determining interocellar bristle number show recessiveness, more pronounced in ‘low’ lines than in ‘high’ lines.
