Abstract
The internal bremsstrahlung (IBS) from direct nuclear reactions is considered. Special attention is paid to the pole diagrams. The suppression effect of the IBS spectra for equal specific charges of all particles participating in the reaction described by the pole mechanism is studied. The importance of the spin term is discussed. The IBS cross-section and its dependence on incident energy for a number of reactions is calculated. The application of the IBS spectrum to identification of the direct reaction mechanism is proposed.
