Optically stimulated electrical conductivity of CaWO4 single cristals

Abstract

The thermally stimulated conductivity of a pure CaWO4-crystal was investigated after irradiation with X-rays at low temperature. The spectral behaviour of the conductivity correlated to the EPR-results gives information about the trap depth and the charge carriers which are responsable for the conductivity. The conductivity and luminescence phenomena are discussed in a simple model.
