Abstract
We report on thermopower measurements of several Cu100−x Ti x -alloys (x=30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 and 65) in the temperature range from 4.4 to 320 K. In all cases the thermopower is positive. It shows a strong variation with concentration. An analysis of the temperature dependence is presented at low and high temperatures. The correlation of the thermopower with the pressure dependence of the electrical resistivity and the Hall-coefficient is discussed and compared with theoretical predictions.
