Summary
In two cases, one of which was a laboratory infection, out of 124 Coxsackie positive cases one immunological type was isolated from the throat swab and another type from the feces of the same patient. In two cases two types, and in one case three types were established in a feces specimen from the same patient. In one patient three types were found simultaneously in feces, and furthermore one type in throat swab. The connection between the isolated strains, the patients and their clinical pictures is discussed.
