  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

By the action of 1,3-propanediol and of 1,3-butanediol on phosphorus trichloride, the cyclic compounds, trimethylene phosphorochloridite and 1-methyltrimethylene phosphorochloridite, have been prepared.

  2. 2.

By reaction of the phosphorochloridites with alcohols in presence of dimethylaniline, the following mixed esters have been synthesized:

Some of their properties have been studied.
