Journal of Soviet Laser Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Results are reported of an investigation of a system for exciting pulsed highpressure gas lasers. The method permits effective pumping of various active media, such as CO2, excimer-molecules, N2, etc. Lasing was obtained on seven different wavelengths in the range 0.193–10.6 μm with pulse power more than 1 MW.
