Conclusions
-
1.
A combination model for describing the efficiency of the mass transfer process on a bubble-cap tray was developed, and was used to derive equations for the tray efficiency.
-
2.
Experimental and calculated tray efficiencies were compared. It was shown that for a small degree of nonuniformity of the stream distribution, the tray efficiency may be calculated by means of the simple sectional model.
