Ultrafiltration as concentration step in hyaluronate lyase production

Summary

Clarification with filter aid and subsequent concentration by ultrafiltration of hyaluronate lyase fermentation broth was studied. Activity recoveries for clarification and concentration were practically 100% and 92–85% respectively.
