Summary
In order to increase the oxygen transfer in a bioreactor for Hybridoma cell culture, a perfluorocarbon, FlutecR ppll was used in a modified CelligenTM system. There was no harmful effect of ppll on the cell growth and on the production of monoclonal antibody.
