Abstract
We calculate the temperature and concentration fluctuations in a homogeneous thermochemical model in the vicinity of a transition point towards a multiple steady state regime. Enhanced fluctuations of 0.1% are predicted at a distance of 10−3 °K from the critical point in a volume element of 10−3 mm3.
