The above-mentioned electrode system parameters pHm, Em, S20, α, Enonln, Ehys, Eflc, and Ed provide a sufficiently full representation of the system's properties and can be considered as its metrological characteristics.

The above metrological characteristics can be used for an objective comparison of the existing and newly developed electrode systems.
