Conclusions
-
1.
The dependence of the effective rate constant of oxidation of cholesterol in the presence of manganese porphyrinates and sodium borohydride on the concentration of the complex of manganese and cholesterol was found.
-
2.
The results obtained were explained within the framework of the hypothesis on formation of solvated associates (dimers) of the manganese porphyrinate-cholesterol, manganese porphyrinate, and cholesterol-cholesterol type.
