Conclusions

  1. 1.

New ethylenediaminetetraacetates of platinum (II) and platinum (IV) were synthesized, and their properties were determined, in particular, the indices of refraction, densities, and IR spectra.

  2. 2.

The instability of aqueous solutions of compounds of platinum (IV) in the light was established by a measurement of the electric conductivity.
