Conclusions
-
1.
A successive increase in the number of polarographic waves or reduction current in the transition from isonicotinamide to isonicotinoylhydrazone and to the isonicotinoylhydrazones of aliphatic ketones was demonstrated. A mechanism was proposed for the electrode process.
-
2.
The influence of potassium and ammonium chlorides and surface-active ketones upon the polarographic characteristics of the substances was studied.
