Abstract
The charge-ordered state of a half-filled conduction band in a magnetic field is investigated. It is shown that depending upon the relation between the parameters of the problem, a first-order or second-order phase transition takes place in the system. Expressions are obtained for the order parameter and the Curie temperature.
