Summary

A method of serial angiography of the circle of Willis was used. An attachment of the x-ray unit provided movement of the cassette containing the x-ray film. A syringe automatically injected 2 ml of a contrast substance (50% cardiotrast solution) into the peripheral end of the ligated common carotid artery; the experiments were carried out on 40 cats.
