Conclusions
-
1.
The bromination and chlorination ofα-hydrotetrafluoroethanesulfonyl halides in the presence of tertiary amines gave the corresponding halides of theα-bromo- andα-chlorotetrafluoroethanesulfonic acids.
-
2.
From the acid halides of theα-bromo- andα-chlorotetrafluoroethanesulfonic acids were obtained various derivatives of the same acids.
-
3.
The bromination and chlorination of methanesulfonyl chloride in the presence of pyridine gave the bromomethane- and chloromethanesulfonyl chlorides.
-
4.
A new method was proposed for electrophilic substitution at the carbon atom in the series ofα-hydrogen-containing alkanesulfonyl halides under basic solvolysis conditions.
