Abstract
A study has been made of the directional stability of the unidirectional anisotropy in two-layer films of manganese and Permalloy 82 with respect to temperature and magnetic fields up to 30 kOe. The unidirectional interaction rotates into the direction of the applied magnetic field only after the antiferromagnetic layer is heated above the Neel temperature.
