Gas chromatographic determination of the manganese antiknock agent 2-Ts8

Conclusions

A method has been developed for quantitative determination of the composition of the manganese antiknock agent 2-Ts8.

Conditions have been selected for the separation and quantitative determination of ethyl bromide, toluene, manganese cyclopentadienyltricarbonyl, and tricresyl phosphate with a Soviet-made programmed temperature Chromatograph. The relative error was 10% and the duration of the determination 20 min.
