Conclusions
-
1.
A mass spectrometric method has been developed for analyzing the sulfur concentrates of petroleum middle fractions containing not more than 5–10% of hydrocarbons.
-
2.
Measurements were made of the amounts in the concentrates of alkyl sulfides, mono-, bi-, and tricyclic sulfides with a sulfur atom in the ring, cycloalkyl sulfides, thiophene derivatives, and aromatic and saturated hydrocarbons. The accuracy of the analysis was 10–15%, the sensitivity 1–1.5%.
