Abstract
Ultrasound measurements of the pair-breaking edge of superfluid3He-B have provided a quantitative knowledge of the energy gap distortion in a magnetic field. The gap distortions obtained at very low temperatures for the three sound frequencies 168.3, 137.6 and 107 MHz are plotted against magnetic field. Results are consistent with theoretical estimates.
