Abstract
This letter reports that there may exist an intense interaction between the Y-Ba-Cu-O superconductors and polarizable molecules, which results in a change in structure and affects the superconductivity. This phenomenon can be explained in terms of the polarization and recombination of electron orbits of copper-oxygen plane.
