Substituted phenylcyclopropanes in the synthesis of 2-isoxazolines

Abstract

Diverse 2-isoxazolines with substituents in both the aromatic ring and the isoxazoline ring were obtained in the process of nitrosation of various substituted phenyl-cyclopropanes with sodium nitrite in a mixture of chloroform and trifluoroacetic acid.
