Acoustic Emission Study of the Fracture Mechanisms in 09G2S Steel

  • Published:
Russian Metallurgy (Metally) Aims and scope

Abstract—The mechanisms of fracture during static tension of flat 09G2S structural steel specimens in a defect-free state and with an artificial defect in the form of a fatigue crack are investigated using the acoustic emission method and fractographic analysis of the fracture surface.
