Method for Estimating the Limiting State of the Pipes of Gas Mains Having Operated for a Long Time

Abstract

A technique is proposed to estimate the limiting state of gas main pipes having operated for a long time, and it is based on a correlation between the velocity of sound and mechanical parameters. The limiting values of the characteristics at which the operation of a construction become dangerous are obtained.
