Abstract

The mathematical model for probability of nondestruction was developed for pipes of the new generation, 1420 mm in diameter and with a working pressure of 12 MPa when strength compressing forces, pressure, diameter and wall thickness are normally distributed. According to these data, the nonlinear dependence of limit lifetime of a gas pipe line on the probability of nondestruction was established. The method realization led to an increase in the reliability of main gas pipe lines operating in extreme conditions.
