Modeling and Prediction of Deformation and Recovery Processes in Synthetic Yarns

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

The problems of mathematical modeling and prediction of deformation and recovery processes in synthetic yarns are considered. To improve the accuracy of such modeling and prediction, we propose to take into account the irreversible component of deformation, which corresponds to its plastic component. The introduction of a deformation reversibility coefficient into mathematical models increases the prediction accuracy of strain and stress values, thereby improving the modeling reliability of deformation and deformation-recovery processes.
