Microwave synthesis of triterpenoid-annulated imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines

  • Published:
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

A series of substituted imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines were accessed by the reaction of triterpene oximes with 2-aminopyridine under the conditions of microwave synthesis. The structures of the new compounds were confirmed by 1D and 2D NMR spectra, as well as by X-ray structural analysis.
