Abstract

Not only does the e-commerce platform with B2C as its business model win more orders for manufacturers and reduce inventory costs, but also expands the range of consumer choices and brings convenience to users. Here we use the basic theory of profit model, which takes Vipshop as an example, to analyze its unique profit model and select a superior profit model for the important significance of the company’s position in the fiercely competitive e-commerce field. Finally, this article points out the hidden worries and crises related to Vipshop, which deserves the vigilance of B2C e-commerce.
