Zusammenfassung

Fasst man den Begriff weit, gehört die Transplantation von Gefäßen heute zu den fundamentalen Methoden der Chirurgie bzw. Transplantationsmedizin. Sowohl der einfache Ersatz von Gefäßen (Arterien und Venen) als auch der Gefäßersatz bzw. die Gefäßtransplantation im Rahmen von Gewebe- und Organtransplantationen haben sich als Basismethodik mit der Chirurgie entwickelt. Die Hauptindikation für eine isolierte allogene Verpflanzung von Blutgefäßen ist heute – wie bei den Herzklappen – der Ersatz infizierter Kunststoffprothesen im Bereich der Aorta und der großen Körperarterien. Der Artikel gibt eine Übersicht über Nutzen, Risiken und Einschränkungen autologer, allogener und xenogener Transplantate. Im letzten Teil werden auf Besonderheiten bei der Gefäßtransplantation mit Geweben sowie im Rahmen der Transplantationen im Rahmen von Viszeralorganen eingegangen.
