Zusammenfassung
„Vor ca. 3 Jahren war Herrn Bergs Hausarzt die Hauptschlagader des Bauches verdächtig groß vorgekommen. Er hatte ihn zu einem Chirurgen überwiesen. Seitdem ging Herr Berg 2-mal im Jahr zur Kontrolle. Zuletzt war das Aneurysma größer geworden. „Es kann jederzeit platzen, und dann kann Ihnen keiner mehr helfen“, war ihm mitgeteilt worden. Herr Berg wusste, dass das Operationsrisiko nicht unerheblich war, aber mit der ständigen Angst vor einem plötzlichen Tod mochte er nicht leben…“ – Die Anästhesie wird von Frau Dr. Elen durchgeführt. Was muss man bei einer offenen Aortenchirurgie bedenken? Welche Vorbereitungen sollten getroffen worden sein? Sollte man einen PDK trotz Antikoagulation legen? Frau Dr. Elen hat sich gut vorbereitet, aber übersieht dennoch etwas Wesentliches und Herr Berg hätte beinahe unnötige Untersuchungen über sich ergehen lassen müssen.
