Zusammenfassung
Zur Bestimmung der Blutgruppe des Patienten, bzw. zur Gewinnung von Kreuzblut, ist eine venöse Blutabnahme durchzuführen. Hierbei ist die Identifikation und korrekte Zuordnung der Probe zum Patienten unablässig. Der häufigste Fehler liegt in der inkorrekten Zuordnung. Neben der Überprüfung des Blutproduktes ist der Bedside Test am Patientenbett die letzte Instanz um eine Fehltransfusion zu verhindern.
