Obituary: Professor Dr. Geoffrey Burnstock (1929–2020) (this opens in a new tab)
Professor Geoffrey Burnstock, a great luminary in science and the founder of our field of purinergic signalling, sadly died peacefully in Melbourne, Australia, on the 2nd of June, 2020, at the age of 91. Purinergic Signalling, the journal that he founded and led for so many years, are creating a page on its website that will be dedicated to your tributes to and memories of Geoff. Please share these by emailing them to Dr. Charles Kennedy, deputy Editor-in-Chief, Purinergic Signalling, at c.kennedy@strath.ac.uk (this opens in a new tab) by November 1st 2020.
Purinergic Signalling has introduced a new type of article, Journal Club, that comprises a short review of recent, important papers in our field that have been published in other major scientific journals, such as Nature and Science. Please see the PDF file (this opens in a new tab) for details.
