Abstract
Diagnosis of spinal inflammatory disease is a complex process requiring an appraisal of clinical, laboratory and neuroradiological findings. Spinal inflammation can be divided into two groups: diseases affecting the vertebral bodies and intervertebral disks, and diseases of the spinal cord.
