Abstract
Binoculars are awkward to use from a tripod when viewing objects of high elevation. This parallelogram mount holds the binocular away from the tripod and allows its height to be changed without altering its orientation enabling, for example, adults to show youngsters objects of interest. Self-construction of a mount like this enables the ATM to design it from scratch and suit it entirely to his needs, as Scott Wilson shows in this integrated mount and tripod which he has made so that its setup and use is as convenient as possible.
