Abstract

The purpose of this study was to discern whether the Interactive Science Notebook (ISN) was useful in enhancing student learning in a Science 10 class. Science 10, being a required course for graduation in British Columbia, is a major hurdle for many students. Not only is there a huge curriculum with many Prescribed Learning Outcomes, the students are required to write a comprehensive Provincial Exam at the end of the course.
